Case Study

Rebel Cars

Rebel Cars is a competitive racing simulator built end to end by PlayFusion Labs - from car physics and AI to full UI implementation and back-end infrastructure. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5 and targets PC with a licensed car roster, real-world tracks, and multiple race modes including multiplayer competition, rally, drift, and drag.

The physics foundation was built from scratch — car behavior, weight distribution, and force feedback support for steering wheel input were designed to feel grounded, not arcade. AI opponents run on custom NPC logic tuned to compete without feeling scripted. Every race mode has its own level mechanics and environment design built around how that mode plays, not repurposed from a shared layout.

The full UI/UX was designed and implemented in-engine - menus, widget layouts, race HUD, and mode selection screens. Back-end and server infrastructure handles multiplayer sessions, competition data, and deployment. Sound implementation covers engine audio, environment, and race feedback across all modes. Every system was designed, built, and shipped by PlayFusion Labs.
